Social Software within the Firewall

Our presentation this month is from Kate Crawshaw, on Social Software within the Firewall – Introduction and Tips on Getting Started.  Kate will be looking at case studies on the application of social software in the Enterprise, with a particular focus on Knowledge Sharing, Collaboration and Innovation.  There will be a discussion on implementation approaches that have worked. 

Kate is a consultant at Headshift, and has a background in marketing, communications and knowledge management with a focus on new media.  Kate worked as a Knowledge Management Consultant at Minter Ellison Lawyers before heading to the UK and working on employee engagement and communication strategies for B Sky B and British Telecom.   She joined Headshift, a social software consultancy, in January 2007 is passionate about making people feel more connected and inspired both in and outside the office. The building is on the roundabout on the corner of Queen St., near A’Beckett St. Adequate parking should be available in the street.  The room will be signposted once you get into the building.
